Conférence internationale francophone SAGEO 2021
SAGEO is the annual International Conference on Spatial Analysis and GEOmatics. It aims to: present recent and high-quality research in the field of Geomatics and Spatial Analysis, bring together researchers from various disciplines, provide an exchange platform on research and development in Geomatics, on a national and international level, for public or private bodies.
SAGEO is supported by the Group of Research MAGIS (http://gdr-magis.imag.fr/) from CNRS. It gathers more than 50 French laboratories and 300 scientists working in Geographical Information Science. It aims at developing the research in Geomatics on all its aspects, connecting scientists working in this field and broadcasting innovation and scientific progress. Members of the group share skills in geographical data bases, computational and conceptual modelling, spatial analysis in general and a strong appetite for interdisciplinarity in geographical science.
As an international conference, SAGEO is of course open to researchers coming from any countries. The official languages are the French and the English.
SAGEO’2005 was in Avignon, SAGEO’2006 in Strasbourg, SAGEO’2007 in Clermont-Ferrand, SAGEO’2008 in Montpellier, SAGEO’2009 in Paris, SAGEO’2010 in Toulouse, SAGEO’2011 Paris, SAGEO’2012 in Liège, SAGEO’2013 in Brest, SAGEO’2014 in Grenoble, SAGEO’2016 in Nice, SAGEO’2017 in Rouen, SAGEO’2018 in Montpellier, SAGEO’2019 in Clermont-Ferrand.
